Eric Vecchiola is President and Executive Officer of General Placement Service. Eric joined the long-standing family business in 2003 as a Recruiting Consultant, advanced to Senior Recruiting Specialist in in 2006, and Agency Manager and Officer in 2010. With the retirement of the Company founder, Eric has assumed all executive level responsibilities. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Bowling Green University.
Eric has led the in the development of new territories for General Placement Service, including nationwide recruiting positions, and has been responsible for the implementation of new technologies and search techniques that the company still uses today.
In addition to his responsibilities with GPS, Eric is active in the management of NIRA (National Insurance Recruiters Association), the Country’s foremost trade association of Insurance recruiting Firms. He has led numerous committees, served on the Board of Directors and was elected President in 2013.
